Agustin Grasso

Agustin is a musician residing in Brooklyn, NY. He began playing music (drumset) at age fifteen and continued his formal education at Escuela de Música Contemporánea (Berklee International Network) in Buenos Aires.

During this time he studied Latin American folk music traditions and instruments, as well as jazz and African American styles.

He decided to move to the United States in 2013 with the intention of immersing himself in the vibrant New York City music scene. He has performed at David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, the Airtrain Jazz Festival, Harlem Arts Festival, Showman’s, Cleopatra’s Needle, The Garage, Shapeshifter Lab and many other music venues throughout the Tristate area. He has shared the stage with great musicians like Tyler Michell, Bruce Edwards, Kyle Koehler, Don Hahn, and Ray Parker, among others.

He also performs for East Coast Contemporary Ballet and the Fred Astaire Dance Studio.

In addition to his sideman work, Agustin teaches for the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.
